Ingredients/Components

  • water
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • thyme - 1 tsp
  • beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
  • medium bay leaf - 1 item
  • celery leaves - 2 Tbsp
  • or more Italian sausage - 1 lb
  • small potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 item
  • cans diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning - 2 item

How to make basque potato soup:

Brown sausage with onions and drain. Combine all ingredients. Cook until potatoes are tender.
