  • sugar - 2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • bananas - 4 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • small box vanilla instant pudding - 1 item
  • large carton whipped topping - 1 item

How to make banana split cake:

Mix cake according to directions on box but use milk instead of water. Bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bring to boil crushed pineapple and sugar. When cake is done, punch holes in it and pour pineapple mixture over cake. Let set for a while.

Mix pudding according to directions. Mix with cream cheese and spread over cake. Next, slice bananas on cake and then spread on nondairy whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and/or cherries and coconut.
