Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- bananas - 4 item
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- small box vanilla instant pudding - 1 item
- large carton whipped topping - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix cake according to directions on box but use milk instead of water. Bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bring to boil crushed pineapple and sugar. When cake is done, punch holes in it and pour pineapple mixture over cake. Let set for a while.Mix pudding according to directions. Mix with cream cheese and spread over cake. Next, slice bananas on cake and then spread on nondairy whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and/or cherries and coconut.
