eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
soda - 1 tsp
buttermilk - 1 c
baking powder - 1 tsp
shortening - 1/2 c
plain flour - 2 c
mashed banana - 1 c
and 1/2 c - 2 Tbsp
and 1/3 c - 2 Tbsp
Mix flour, soda and baking powder together

How to make banana cake:

Mix banana, sugar, buttermilk, shortening, eggs and vanilla together. Mix flour, soda and baking powder together. Add to ingredients. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Caramel Frosting:1 1/2 c. brown sugar2 Tbsp. and 1/2 c. butter2 Tbsp. and 1/3 c. cream1 tsp. vanilla Cook over medium heat, stirring all the time. After this starts to boil, cook 1 minute. Whip until thick. Put on Banana Cake.
