- milk - 1/2 c
- cornstarch
- stick butter or oleo - 1/2 item
- hard-boiled eggs - 3 item
- can asparagus - 1 oz
- sharp cheese, shredded - 1/2 c
- liquid from asparagus - 1 c
- saltines, rolled fine - 1 pkg
How to make baked asparagus:
Combine asparagus, crackers and eggs. Cut eggs in quarters. Make a rich white sauce using liquid from the asparagus, butter and milk. Thicken with cornstarch.
