  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • saltine crackers, crumbled - 12 item
  • 2 can asparagus, drained reserve liquid

How to make asparagus casserole:

In a casserole dish, place half of the asparagus in bottom of dish. Layer half of chestnuts and half of crumbs. Dot with half of butter. Pour half of soup, thinned with liquid from asparagus. Repeat layers, ending with crumbs on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
