Artichoke balls
Ingredients/Components
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- juice of 1 lemon
- jar marinated artichoke hearts - 1 item
- can artichoke hearts - 1 item
- toes garlic, crushed - 2 item
- cups Italian bread crumbs - 2-1/2 item
- cup plain bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make artichoke balls:
Drain artichokes in can and reserve liquid. Chop finely. Chop marinated hearts and add with oil Mix in garlic, 2-1/2 cups bread crumbs, lemon juice and cheese. Use reserved water to moisten if too dry. Chill mixture 1 hour; then roll into 1-inch balls. Roll in bread crumbs. May be served warm or cold. To warm, heat in oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. This makes about 75 balls.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Time to make, Vegetarian.
