Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar
- water - 2 c
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- baking powder
- margarine - 2/3 c
- apples, peeled and halved - 6 item
How to make apple dumplings:
Dough:2 c. flour2 1/2 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt2/3 c. margarine1/2 c. milk Sauce:2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. melted margarine2 c. water1/2 tsp. cinnamon Mix ingredients for dough as you would for pie dough. Divide into 12 pieces. Roll each piece into small square. Put 1/2 apple in center and press dough around to make a dumpling. Set dumplings in 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour sauce over and bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until crust is brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
