- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- large tart apples - 4 item
- pie shell deep dish - 1 item
How to make apple crumb pie:
Pare apples; arrange in a 9-inch pastry-lined pie pan. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Sift 1/2 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in a hot 400° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
