Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 c
- can mandarin orange segments, drained - 1 oz
- coconut optional - 1/2 c
- small can crushed pineapple undrained - 1 item
- thawed Cool Whip lite
- or 2 4 serving pkg - 1 serving)
How to make ambrosia mold:
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add cold water to the juice to measure 1 cup. Stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl until completely dissolved. Stir in measured liquid. Refrigerate about 1 1/4 hours or until slightly thickened. Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk until smooth; refrigerate 10 minutes or until mixture will mound. Stir in rest of ingredients. Spoon into a 6-cup mold. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Makes 10 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Gelatin.
