  • eggs - 4 item
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cream of tartar - 2 tsp
  • walnuts optional - 1 item
  • buttermilk or milk - 1 c
  • vanilla or almond extract - 1 tsp

How to make 1-2-3-4 cake:

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla (or almond) extract. Add walnuts. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
