Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- cornstarch
- vinegar
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- onions, chopped - 4 c
- black pepper - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- red pepper, chopped - 1 item
- young, sliced zucchini - 12 c
How to make zucchini pickles:
Slice zucchini. Let stand overnight in enough water to cover, plus 5 tablespoons salt. Drain. Add rest of ingredients. Boil 30 minutes. Can and seal.Recipe categories: Squash, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
