Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 item
  • margarine - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • sunflower seeds - 1 item
  • zucchini - 1 lb
  • Cheddar cheese, chopped - 3/4 c
  • American cheese, chopped - 1/4 c

How to make zucchini casserole:

Saute onion in margarine until clear. Steam zucchini until almost tender. Add all ingredients and place in buttered casserole. Top with buttered bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.

This recipe was given to me at my bridal shower by Pauline Roettger. Her husband Hugh worked with my father in Nebraska.
