Ingredients/Components
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- onion, sliced thin - 1/2 item
- tomatoes, sliced - 2 item
- sprinkle of garlic salt - 1 item
- layer cracker crumbs - 1 item
- medium zucchini, washed and sliced thin - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese or 1/2 Cheddar and 1/2 Monterey Jack - 1 2
- to 6 raw bacon slices - 5 item
How to make zucchini casserole:
Layer ingredients in the order listed in a 2-quart casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Note: Best to half cook bacon before adding it to casserole to eliminate some of the fat and grease.
