Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter
- egg - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- can chopped green chilies - 1/2 item
- Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- zucchini, chopped - 3 item
How to make zucchini and cheese casserole:
Boil together zucchini and onion. Heat to almost boiling milk, butter, salt and pepper. Beat egg and add to sauce. Add sauce mixture to zucchini and onion. Mix cheese, bread crumbs and chilies and layer with squash mixture in buttered dish. Top layer should be cheese, bread crumbs and chilies.
