Zesty pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- maple syrup - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire - 2 tsp
- rib pork chops - 6 item
- hickory ketchup can mix barbecue sauce and ketchup - 1/2 c
- apple, cored and sliced in 6 circles - 1 item
How to make zesty pork chops:
Brown pork chops in oil and salt; drain. Combine other ingredients and reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture. Pour remaining over chops and simmer, covered, on low heat for 25 minutes, basting a few times. Place chops on sheet and put apple on each. Cover with reserved mixture. Bake in oven at 350° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Meat, Pork chop, Pork.
