Zesty deviled eggs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- mayonnaise - 3 Tbsp
- hard-cooked eggs - 6 item
- finely shredded process American cheese about 2 oz - 1/2 c
- snipped parsley or 1 tsp - 2 Tbsp
How to make zesty deviled eggs:
Cut peeled eggs lengthwise into halves. Slip out yolks; mash with fork. Mix in salt, mustard, pepper, mayo, cheese and parsley or horseradish. Fill whites with egg yolk mixture, heaping it lightly. Arrange eggs on large serving plate. Cover and refrigerate no longer than 24 hours. Each egg half can be garnished with cooked shrimp, rolled anchovy fillet or sliced pimento-stuffed olive before serving.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
