Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1/4 c
  • egg yolks - 4 item
  • confectioners sugar - 1/4 c
  • heavy cream - 1 c
  • whipped cream - 1 item
  • egg white - 1 item
  • dash of cinnamon - 1 item
  • sparkling white wine - 1/2 c
  • Grand Marnier and 1 tsp

How to make zabaglione:

In top of double boiler over boiling water, put egg yolks, sugar, wine and egg whites. Beat and add cream, vanilla, confectioners sugar and cinnamon. Beat until well blended, thick and fluffy.

Serve in champagne glasses that have been lined with berries. Spoon the zabaglione over the berries and top with whipped cream. Serve well chilled.
