sugar - 1 c
cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
eggs - 2 item
chopped pecans - 1 c
butter or margarine - 1/2 c
salt - 1/4 tsp
soda - 1/2 tsp
dairy sour cream - 1/4 c
quick cooking rolled oats - 1 c
raisins - 1/2 c
cloves - 1/4 tsp
sifted all-purpose flour
chopped candied cherries - 1/2 c
finely snipped dates - 1 c

How to make yuletide drops:

Cream butter or margarine, sugar and eggs until fluffy. Stir in sour cream. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves. Stir into creamed mixture. Mix in oats, pecans, dates, raisins and chopped cherries. Drop from rounded teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350° oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool on rack. Makes 5 dozen.
