Yellow squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- parsley - 1 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- yellow crookneck squash - 3 c
How to make yellow squash casserole:
Boil squash and onion until tender; drain. Salt to taste. Scald milk with margarine. Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Pour into prepared casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Low calorie, Cheese.
