Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 6 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 2 pkg
How to make yeast rolls:
Dissolve 1 cup water and Crisco and heat until Crisco dissolves, let cool. Add salt, sugar and beaten eggs. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add to mixture. Work this into 6 cups flour. Cover and let rise until doubles in bulk. Punch down and refrigerate until needed. Roll and place in greased muffin tin or cut into biscuits and place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise in warm place 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 425° until brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Low fat.
