Ingredients/Components

  • c sugar - 2/3 item
  • c shortening - 2 item
  • pkg dry yeast - 1 item
  • 1/2 tsp salt - 1 item
  • c sifted flour - 6 item
  • c lukewarm water - 2 item

How to make yeast rolls:

Mix water and yeast, then add all the other ingredients, beating thoroughly. Shape into rolls. Place in greased pan. Cover and let rise over night in a warm spot. Bake in heated oven until brown. The dough only has to rise one time.
