Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 4 c
- warm water - 2 c
- corn oil - 3/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make yeast muffins:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add egg and oil. Mix flour and sugar with liquid ingredients. At this point, refrigerate or use some of mixture. Will keep in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. When baking, use buttered muffin tins. Fill tins 3/4 full and bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 5 dozen muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Yeast breads, Sourdough breads.
