Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/4 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/4 c
- lukewarm water - 1 c
- 1/2 envelopes dry yeast - 1 item
- dry milk or Cremora - 1/4 c
How to make yeast biscuits:
Preheat oven to 425°. Grease a 10 x 14-inch pan. Melt Crisco; cool. Mix water, sugar and yeast; dissolve thoroughly. Stir together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
