Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • onion, peeled and chopped - 1 item
  • apple, peeled and chopped - 1 item
  • jar sauerkraut, drained - 1 lb
  • white wine - 1/2 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • seedless green grapes - 1/2 lb

How to make wine sauerkraut:

In butter, saute onion and apple for 2 minutes. Add sauerkraut, wine, bay leaf and pepper. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Add grapes. Heat through but do not boil again. Serves 6 to 8.
