Wine sauerkraut
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- onion, peeled and chopped - 1 item
- apple, peeled and chopped - 1 item
- jar sauerkraut, drained - 1 lb
- white wine - 1/2 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- seedless green grapes - 1/2 lb
How to make wine sauerkraut:
In butter, saute onion and apple for 2 minutes. Add sauerkraut, wine, bay leaf and pepper. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Add grapes. Heat through but do not boil again. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Low protein, Side dish, Vegetables.
