Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can chicken broth - 1 3/4
- parsley - 1/4 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1/3 c
- cooked wild rice
- small green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- medium stalks celery, sliced - 2 item
- medium carrot, coarsely shredded - 1 item
How to make wild rice soup:
Cook and stir celery, carrot, onion and green pepper in margarine in large saucepan until celery is tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat just until hot. Do not boil.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Rice.
