  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
  • curry powder - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1/2 c
  • toasted sliced almonds - 1/2 c
  • can sliced water chestnuts optional - 1 item
  • to 3 green onions, chopped - 2 item
  • small can peas - 1 item
  • head romaine lettuce, torn up - 1 item
  • small can salmon or diced cold chicken, ham or shrimp optional - 1 item
  • Chill, then add celery, onions, lettuce, peas, almonds, water chestnuts and salmon, chicken, ham or shrimp
  • either sour cream or yogurt - 1 item

How to make wild rice salad:

Cook rice. Chill, then add celery, onions, lettuce, peas, almonds, water chestnuts and salmon, chicken, ham or shrimp.For Dressing:2/3 c. mayonnaise either sour cream or yogurt Worcestershire sauce1 Tbsp. lemon juice curry powder Mix mayonnaise with sour cream or yogurt. Add seasoning to taste, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and curry powder. Add dressing just before serving.
