Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 3 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- rice - 1 c
- can asparagus drained - 1 item
- 1/2 cans mushroom soup - 1 item
- strips bacon, chopped and browned - 6 item
How to make wild rice casserole:
Wash 1 cup wild rice thoroughly and place in a large heavy saucepan filled with 3 cups boiling water and salted to taste. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook rice 50 to 60 minutes or until rice kernels puff open. Uncover and fluff rice with a table forkRecipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Rice.
