Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 4 c
- softened oleo - 1/2 c
- butter or oleo, softened - 1 c
- Marshmallow Creme
- cocoa baking - 3/4 c
How to make whoopie pies:
Filling:2 c. Marshmallow Creme2 c. confectioners sugar1/2 c. softened oleo2 tsp. vanilla In a mixing bowl, beat oleo, sugar, vanilla and eggs until well mixed. Combine dry ingredients; add to oleo mixture alternately with water and buttermilk. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 5 to 7 minutes or until done. Cool completely.In a small mixing bowl, beat filling ingredients until fluffy. Spread filling on half of the cookies. Top with remaining cookies. Makes about 3 dozen.
