Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- whole wheat flour - 1 c
- corn meal - 1 c
- egg or 2 egg whites - 1 item
How to make whole wheat cornbread:
Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients in a separate, large bowl. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Pour mixture into oiled pan. Bake in preheated oven at 400° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, For large groups, Breads.
