- oil - 3/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- whole wheat flour - 2 c
- dry milk - 1/2 c
- yeast - 2 pkg
- white flour - 4 to
- sugar 3/4 c - 1/2 c
How to make whole wheat bread:
Combine water, sugar or honey, dry milk, salt and oil in pan. Heat to 120° to 130°. Stir together whole wheat flour and yeast in bowl. Add warm liquid and beaten eggs. Beat at low speed with electric mixer 1/2 minute. Scrape sides and bottom. Then beat high speed 3 minutes. Stir in rest of flour to make a moderately soft dough. Knead 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl. Let rise 1 1/2 hours, punch down. Let rest 5 minutes. Make into loaves or rolls. Bake at 350°.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Yeast breads.
