White texas sheet cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- confectioners sugar
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c

How to make white texas sheet cake:
In a large saucepan, bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from the heat. Stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, salt and baking soda until smooth. Pour into a greased 15 x 10-inch baking pan. Bake at 375° for 20 to 22 minutes or until cake is golden brown and tests done. Cool for 20 minutes.Frosting:1/2 c. butter or margarine1/4 c. milk4 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1 c. chopped walnuts Combine butter and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat; add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Stir in walnuts; spread over warm cake. Yields 16 to 20 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low protein.
