Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- whipping cream - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- 1/4 inch onion slice - 1 item
- fresh sprig of parsley - 1 item
How to make white sauce:
Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour milk mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a small bowl, reserving the hot milk. Melt butter in large skillet over low heat.
