White lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 2 c
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- can chopped mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- lasagna noodles - 8 oz
- Parmesan or Romano cheese - 1/2 c
- minced dried onion - 1 Tbsp
- thinly sliced cooked ham - 6 oz
- cooked chicken or turkey, cubed - 2 c
How to make white lasagna:
Cook noodles as directed and drain. In a saucepan melt margarine; blend in flour, onion, garlic powder and pepper. Add chicken broth and milk; cook and stir until bubbly. Stir in the first 1/2 cup grated cheese and mushrooms. In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, layer 1/2 of noodles, all of asparagus, chicken and Mozzarella and 1/3 of milk mixture. Top with ham, remaining noodles and remaining cheese. Bake uncovered in a 350° oven for 35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Lasagna.
