Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • chicken broth - 2 c
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
  • can chopped mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
  • lasagna noodles - 8 oz
  • Parmesan or Romano cheese - 1/2 c
  • minced dried onion - 1 Tbsp
  • thinly sliced cooked ham - 6 oz
  • cooked chicken or turkey, cubed - 2 c

How to make white lasagna:

Cook noodles as directed and drain. In a saucepan melt margarine; blend in flour, onion, garlic powder and pepper. Add chicken broth and milk; cook and stir until bubbly. Stir in the first 1/2 cup grated cheese and mushrooms. In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, layer 1/2 of noodles, all of asparagus, chicken and Mozzarella and 1/3 of milk mixture. Top with ham, remaining noodles and remaining cheese. Bake uncovered in a 350° oven for 35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
