  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • candied cherries - 12 oz
  • whole pecans - 24 oz
  • white raising - 12 oz

How to make white fruit cake:

Mix together sugar, margarine, and eggs. Mix together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Add both together and mix well. Add cherries, raisins, and pecans. Line 2 loaf pans with foil. Add batter and bake at 275° for 2-1/4 hours. When cool, wrap in cloth dampened with orange juice for 1 week.
