- sugar
- cinnamon
- eggs - 6 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- candied cherries - 12 oz
- whole pecans - 24 oz
- white raising - 12 oz
How to make white fruit cake:
Mix together sugar, margarine, and eggs. Mix together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Add both together and mix well. Add cherries, raisins, and pecans. Line 2 loaf pans with foil. Add batter and bake at 275° for 2-1/4 hours. When cool, wrap in cloth dampened with orange juice for 1 week.Recipe categories: Desserts, American, North american.
