White chili
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- chicken broth - 6 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- ground cumin - 2 tsp
- minced garlic - 1 Tbsp
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- cans Great Northern beans - 3 oz
- diced cooked chicken breast - 4 c
- cans chopped mild green chilies - 2 oz
How to make white chili:
Cook and dice chicken. Heat oil, add onion and cook until transparent. Add garlic, chilies, cumin, oregano and chili powder. Add beans and broth. Bring to boil. Add chicken and salt to taste. Simmer for 15 minutes. Sprinkle each bowl of chili with Monterey Jack cheese.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chili, Tex Mex.
