- Great Northern white beans

How to make white bean soup:
Cooking Time: 3 hours.Wash and soak beans overnight. (Do not drain.) Add all remaining ingredients, except tomato sauce. Cook on low fire for approximately 2 1/2 hours. Add tomato sauce and cook 30 minutes more. Serve with hot cornbread.
