West indies salad
Ingredients/Components
- cider vinegar - 3 oz
- ice water - 4 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 4 oz
- fresh lump crab meat - 1 lb
How to make west indies salad:
Divide chopped onion in half and spread half over the bottom of a large mixing bowl. Place crab meat over onions. Spread balance of onion over crab meat. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour over all in this order: oil, vinegar and lastly the ice water.Recipe categories: Salads, Shellfish, Crab.
