Ingredients/Components

  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • can kidney beans with liquid - 1 oz
  • can pinto beans with liquid - 1 oz
  • diced onion - 1 c
  • black pepper
  • water - 2 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • chili powder - 3 Tbsp
  • diced green chilies - 1/2 c
  • medium tomatoes, chopped - 3 item
  • diced celery - 1/4 c
  • cumin powder - 2 tsp

How to make wendy's chili:

Brown beef; drain off fat. Using a fork, crumble the cooked beef into pea-sized pieces. In a large pot, combine beef and all the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Serves 12.
