Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese, softened - 3 oz
  • sifted flour - 1 c
  • butter, softened - 1/2 c
  • Filling:1 egg
  • vanilla - 1 item
  • dash salt - 1 item
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • melted butter - 1 Tbsp
  • nuts - 1 item

How to make walnut tassies:

Filling:1 egg vanilla1 dash salt3/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. melted butter nuts Combine all crust ingredients together and shape into balls. Chill. Form to side of muffin pan. Sprinkle shaped cups 1/2 full nuts and add filling almost full. Put more nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes.
