Waikiki meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- ground beef
- cracker crumbs - 2/3 c
- minced onions - 1/3 c
- can pineapple tidbits reserve syrup - 1 1/2
How to make waikiki meatballs:
Mix thoroughly beef, crumbs, onion, egg, salt, ginger and milk. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoon into balls. Melt shortening in large skillet; brown and cook meatballs. Remove meatballs; keep warm. Pour fat from skillet. Mix cornstarch and sugar.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Ground beef, Beef.
