  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • cold water - 2 c
  • oil - 10 tsp
  • cocoa - 6 tsp
  • baking soda - 3 tsp
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • Add the cold water; mix well

How to make wacky cake:

Mix all ingredients, except water. Add the cold water; mix well. Bake at 250° for 30 to 35 minutes in cupcake pan.Cupcake Filling:4 tsp. flour1/2 c. milk3/4 c. sugar1/2 c. shortening1 tsp. vanilla Measure flour and milk in pan. Cook until thick. Beat sugar, shortening and vanilla until well creamed. Add first mixture gradually; continue beating until well blended.
