Wacky cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• flour
• cold water - 1 c
• oil - 1/3 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 1/4 c
• vinegar - 1 Tbsp

How to make wacky cake:

Use an 8 x 8-inch pan, ungreased. Sift dry ingredients together in pan. Make 3 holes in dry ingredients with a tablespoon. Place vinegar in 1, vanilla in 1 and oil in the next one. Pour cold water over all this. Stir together with rubber scraper. Stir well. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes in metal pan; for 35 to 40 minutes in glass pan.
