Volcano potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- hot milk - 1 c
- grated cheese - 1/4 c
- parsley - 1 tsp
- mashed potatoes - 3 c
How to make volcano potatoes:
Add beaten egg yolks to mashed potatoes, then add salt, parsley and milk; mix together. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Mold into cones 3-inches high and place in a shallow baking dish. Make a deep indentation in the top of each cone and fill with grated cheese sprinkled with paprika. Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
