- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- 9-inch pie shell
How to make vinegar pie:
Combine sugar, flour, salt and spices in heavy pan; mix thoroughly. Add water, vinegar and eggs; beat vigorously with rotary beater for a few minutes. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour into a baked 9-inch pie shell. Cool. Serve plain or with whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
