  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • 9-inch pie shell

How to make vinegar pie:

Combine sugar, flour, salt and spices in heavy pan; mix thoroughly. Add water, vinegar and eggs; beat vigorously with rotary beater for a few minutes. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour into a baked 9-inch pie shell. Cool. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
