Ingredients/Components

  • Sugar - 1 c
  • Vinegar - 1 c
  • Salt to taste - 1 item
  • Onion - 1 item
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Celery Seed - 1 tsp
  • head Cabbage - 1 item
  • large Bell Pepper - 1 item
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • to 3 Carrots - 2 item

How to make vinegar cole slaw:

Chop cabbage, bell pepper, carrots and onion. Boil vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard, pepper and salt for 5 minutes. Pour over remaining ingredients. Store in a covered container in refrigerator. If you keep it covered, it will keep for several days.
