- water
- chopped carrots - 4 item
- stalks celery - 3 item
- small onions - 5 item
- small red potatoes - 12 item
- cubes stew meat - 2 lb
- flour, salt and pepper mixed, to cover meat - 1 item
- seasoning mix or stew seasoning - 1 pkg
How to make venison stew:
Roll the meat in flour, salt and pepper, then brown in shortening. Add seasonings or seasoning mix, 1 teaspoon salt and water. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes. Add vegetables and cook another half hour.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Stew.
