  • medium onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
  • can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
  • green pepper, thinly sliced - 1/2 item
  • red wine optional - 1/4 c
  • medium-size venison round steak - 1 item
  • can Franco-American beef and mushroom gravy - 1 item

How to make venison steak:

Salt and pepper steaks and cut into serving pieces. Flour lightly and brown in oil. Drain off excess oil. Layer meat, green pepper, onions and mushrooms in skillet or baking dish. Cover with gravy and wine. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 or 2 hours or until meat is tender.

You can put meat tenderizer on meat, if you desire.
