Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
How to make velvet waffles:
Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat egg yolks; add milk and oil. Pour into flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Fold into egg whites lightly, but thoroughly. Use 1/2 cup batter for each waffle.Recipe categories: Pancakes and waffles, Breakfast, < 30 mins.
