Velvet waffles



  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • eggs, separated - 3 item
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • cooking oil - 1/2 c
  • sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c

How to make velvet waffles:

Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat egg yolks; add milk and oil. Pour into flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Fold into egg whites lightly, but thoroughly. Use 1/2 cup batter for each waffle.
