Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- hot water - 2 c
- marshmallows - 1 lb
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- cream cheese
- salad dressing - 1 c
- cream, whipped - 1 c
- raspberry Jell-O - 1 pkg
How to make velvet salad:
Dissolve lemon Jell-O in 1 cup hot water. Dissolve marshmallows in other cup hot water. Mix together. Add pineapple, cream cheese and let cool. Add salad dressing and whipped cream. Pour into 13 x 9-inch dish and refrigerate until set. Sprinkle top with nuts.Dissolve raspberry Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water. Refrigerate until jelly-like. Pour on top of other Jell-O mixture. Keep refrigerated.
