Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 4 tsp
  • water - 6 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • chili powder - 1/4 tsp
  • 2 oz - 1 pt
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • sliced carrots - 1 c
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • diced potatoes - 1 c
  • can whole corn - 1 item
  • beef shank - 3 lb
  • tomatoes 2 c - 1 lb

How to make vegetable soup:

Cook meat, tomato juice, onion and 6 cups water. Simmer 2 hours. Add vegetables. Simmer 1 more hour. Remove bay leaves and serve.
