Ingredients/Components
- salt - 4 tsp
- water - 6 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- 2 oz - 1 pt
- diced celery - 1 c
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- bay leaves - 2 item
- diced potatoes - 1 c
- can whole corn - 1 item
- beef shank - 3 lb
- tomatoes 2 c - 1 lb
How to make vegetable soup:
Cook meat, tomato juice, onion and 6 cups water. Simmer 2 hours. Add vegetables. Simmer 1 more hour. Remove bay leaves and serve.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Weeknight, Soups & stews.
